QFT

Yesterday, our family had a late celebration of Papa's birthday (which was last Tuesday). We went to our default, Ayala Center, and first bought tickets to the movie (The Longest Yard, part deux). Afterwards, everyone was already hungry so we went straight to lunch at Wok Inn at Park Square I (discovered via Bryan's baptism reception a few weeks back). The food was equally as delicious as the Malate branch (we had sipa (of course), stuffed squid (of course), lemon chicken and broccoli with beef) and there was even a bonus -- free chicharon while waiting for your food! (which was gone in about 30 seconds, hehe). My parents were trying to guess the ingredients of the sauces and dishes so that they could copy them at home... nuninu.

Since the movie wasn't until after two more hours, we burned time on two things: first, some "necessary" shopping -- new socks, lunch bag (I'm starting to bring packed lunch now, nuninu), etc. and of course, the arcade(!) where I found an interesting discovery... the arcade version of Battle Gear 3 is out! :)

Sidetrack: Instinctively, I texted Sid, scheduled an arcade "session", and voila, we went there this afternoon... ;) Well, not exactly there, because we played at the Waltermart near Don Bosco... but who cares, the game rocks! Hmmm... the end of the Initial D era? ;)

Anyway, back to the story, everyone enjoyed the movie (including myself, despite watching it for the second time) and on the way home, we stopped by Auntie Anne's, bought some pretzels and caramel dip (yum!) took a cab and went home.

Quality family time. :) Wish we can do this more often...
