Last Sunday, we (Ma, Pa, Karlo, Beej & myself) visited Cavite. Tita Lou is in town for 3 weeks because it was Sophie's second birthday last Wednesday. Fortunately, this pre-scheduled-visit-slash-Beej-intro-to-the-Cifras pushed through despite my foot's condition. Luckily the swelling and pain lessened enough, that I was able to drive there.

It was a happy day! :) Sophie didn't snob Beej (the primary test), in fact, she loved her and liked being carried around by Beej; and Mommy (my grandma) liked Beej immediately (the second test), in fact, her first words were: "Hmm... pretty!" :)

We spent the day eating (pork bbq, grilled hotdog, menudo, crabs, shrimps, kare-kare, lumpiang sariwa, and the Lays counterpart of Pringles, forgot the name, hehe), telling stories, eating, singing (videoke again!), playing with Sophie, playing with Mik (jigsaw puzzle champ, thank you very much!), and of course, eating. :)

We left around 7:30 PM and drove home, after dropping off Beej at Robinson's Galleria Ortigas for her Cainta family dinner-slash-Singapore-pre-planning.
