Fine Time

After numerous last-minute location and schedule changes due to various "unforeseen" events, only one thing was for sure -- September 9 was me and my baby's first "month-sary" (naks, parang highschool, hehe...), and we were going to enjoy each other's company for this very special day. :)

We decided to throw all plans away and just went for whatever we felt like doing. First off, since we met around lunch time in the heat of Manila's noontime sun, we decided to get off in the middle of the MRT ride and go to SM Megamall. Both hungry and craving for Mexican food (leftover from a few days back), we had lunch at Mexicali. Beef taco, chicken burrito, and grilled shrimp california burrito -- instant super busog! :) This reminds me... we have to finish that Scrabble game... what's the score? 40-all? ;)

Next, we decided to catch an early movie. Since we were watching The Dukes of Hazzard the next day with SML, we decided to watch The Brothers Grimm. Around 15 mins into the movie, we both agreed that this was going into our "firsts" list as the first city movie we ever watched, hehe. ;)

After the movie, Beej was craving for crépe, and I was looking for a cup of coffee, so we decided to go to French Baker, where we had a looong talk about "stuff". Nuninu...

After merienda, we just decided to walk around, do a little window shopping, which was capped by a trip to the arcade (where else? hehe...) where we played foosball! :) After four games, I still can't believe that I lost -- two games to one (one game ended in a draw). :(

After getting my ass kicked in foosball, we had dinner at Italliani's. Free focasia & tuscan bread, fried calamari and grilled chicken pasta... torso movements were not allowed for a while because the food was up to our necks. ;) After another looong talk, this time about different "stuff" (nuninu), we finally decided to go home. :)

... fine, fine time... forever would be fine...
