Shot to the heart

Last Saturday, Beej and I did our last-minute shopping for the few people left unchecked in our Christmas lists. Unfortunately, the WTC bazaar sched ended the previous day, so we just decided to go back to St. Francis Square. I think it was even a blessing in disguise, because St. Francis is right next to Megamall, so even if we couldn't find something-for-someone there, we could just cross the street (which we did. hehe.). Anyway, despite the sched and the itinerary (I hate shopping), I was unusually in a good mood that day. Just thought I'd share that. ;)

Last Sunday was the scheduled christmas-videoke-thingy by the Friendly Friends. Beej and I decided to meet at RP because of three things -- it was our "middle place"; she was craving for panchicken; and because we still haven't bought a gift for a very important certain someone. Nuninu. Well, all tasks were successful -- we met each other (hehe), Beej had her panchicken (I had cheese pancakes, yum!), and we got the gift. :)

We were then off to Redbox @ GB3. It's always fun to sing among friends. :) As usual, Jovs & Dionne were at the location on time. We caught them singing "I Finally Found Someone" (hehe), then Mem and Monching arrived soon after. Sidenote: Red Box should place more mini-pretzels on their free pika-pika. Anyway, after a few hours of sing-only-up-to-the-chorus-videoke (hehe), Jovs, Dionne, Beej and myself had dinner at nearby Itallianis. This was primarily because, as one of her numerous Christmas gifts, Beej got a lifetime(?) 20% discount card at any branch of Itallianis, TGIF and Outback (where we'll be dining tomorrow, yehey!). Food was amazing and plentiful, we couldn't finish them all (I think The Terminator in Jovs is gone), and we even got a glimpse of Bryan Adams (hehe).

Monday was Janice's birthday treat for the EPI G-staff. She treated us to Cold Rock ice cream @ GB3, where I had Mitichie's Strawberry Surprise (very strawberry ice cream, plus real strawberries, plus pound cake... yum!). Around 6pm, we sensed that the Cold Rock staff (hehe) were trying to get us out of the area (I think they were going to hold their Christmas party or something), so we moved outside to the comfy sofas (we missed the last bed, hmph) of Fuzion Cafe. It was an awesome night (more precisely, a Stand-up Comedy Night courtesy of Sid) of stories, jokes, and lots of laughs. :) Sidenote: Watch out for us on the next Ayala Center advertisement (I love you more today than yesterday... hehe jk.)
