Always winter, never Christmas

The new year started pretty well. I was able to meet my twice-a-week swim requirement last week (don't know if I'm going to meet it this week though). Then, last Friday, Beej and I visited Rom & Riselle's place for a little get-together (mini-reunion/wedding anniv). Both Beej and I had our first taste of beer (hati sa isang can) in a loooong time. I've been staying away from alcohol ever since I got Lindsey, and last Friday, I got a taste of what I've been missing. Maybe it's time to revisit old times, hehe. ;)



The next day, we were off to Meg & Maries' wedding, where my "winning" streak for the garter ended. ;) Congrats and best wishes, you guys. :)



Last Monday, we salvaged an "unorganized day where nothing planned push through" with Narnia. The movie exceeded my expectations, given that I never read any of the books, didn't have a clue about the plot, and didn't know any of the cast... and despite the noisy kid who was sitting right beside me (Mommy, asan na yung lion? Mommy, san sila pupunta?). And even better, we had *$ at Harbour Square (check!) after the movie. :)

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, as this good start was met by some bad news that I received just yesterday -- details of which I'll share once it's been confirmed. :(
