Grey dawn
First, some Lindsey updates:
Last last Saturday, we took Lindsey to the Nissan casa at Abad Santos (where a family friend, Tito Nesty, works) for an engine wash, as well as to fix the broken air filter bracket and the distributor (they fixed the oil seal, I think). Ka-ching!
Last Wednesday, I took Lindsey to my mechanic Raymond to restore the suspension springs to stock parts. Lesson learned: always replace your shocks in pairs. Now, I have to go back to Raymond this Saturday, to replace the front-right suspension with a gas-type. :( Ka-ching!
Last Sunday, my father and I removed the rust and spray-painted black both of Lindsey's rear drums (brake covers). Ka-ching!
Unfortunately, there's one bad news in this list -- last Saturday, during my search for a parking space in Kamuning before Koiné's Subtext (more on this later), I was swiped by a white Toyota in my rear right bumper. Fortunately, there was no dent, but there was a lot of white paint transfer and some paint scrapes. Damn! I hate old drivers! Ka-ching (to be)!
And the rest of the updates:
Last last Tuesday, Beej and I dined at Plato Platina again, to try out their Quatro Formaggi pizza. I loved it, but Beej didn't like the fact that the pizza was so thin and crispy that it lost it's "pizza-ness" and appeared just like crackers with cheese toppings. Hehe.
Last last Thursday, we dined at Dimsum & Dumplings, where we had an experience on a classic slow "fast food" service. I still think the 99 peso eat-all-you-can pork siomai is worth it. ;)
Last last Sunday, we went to Dionne's place for their entourage's gown measurements (thanks Jovs for the K750i games!), and afterwards, went to Alexa's dedication where, of course, Beej is one of the godparents. Later that night, being Chinese New Year, we used our coupon at *$ Banawe. Check! :)
Nothing special happened during Mama's birthday last Tuesday, because she didn't want to cook. ;) That was her gift for her birthday -- rest. :)
Last Friday, Beej and I watched Derailed. Lesson learned: Always know the plot of the movie, before taking Beej to one. :(
Last Saturday, the whole Asmira gang (almost), along with significant others, watched Kateh sport her acting prowess in Koiné's Subtext. The whole cast was amazing (Kateh was the best, of course... ;-) ), and as expected, we had another fun "alternative" gimik night. We're coming back to watch Somnambulism, hopefully, around the end of February.
