Funckyerdoder

Mommy stayed at our place for the whole of last week. She had an eye operation for her cataract (which was a success) scheduled last Tuesday, so she couldn't travel much and needed to rest. Of course I was the designated driver to and from all the appointments, but I'm not complaining -- KFC dinner, Yellow Cab lunch, meryenda and dinner, and excused half-day leaves... yeah boy! :) We took her back to Cavite last Saturday and as usual, we had a feast, hehe. There was no videoke sesson this time, but no worries, I can always play with Sophie. :)

Thursday falling on the 9th equals date day. :) First off, Beej and I had lunch at Tempura -- I've eaten there many times because it's the favorite of some of my officemates, and I've promised Beej that I'd treat her there -- and they didn't disappoint: tofu steak, seafood teppanyaki and californian maki. Yum! Later that afternoon, we caught an early screening of Date Movie. Honestly, it wasn't a "laugh-out-loud" comedy -- most of the jokes were already given away on the trailer -- but it was still very funny. To top things off, we ended the night with a videoke session at Music 21 -- naubos ata namin lahat ng "singable" duets sa song lineup nila, hehe. Good thing no one else was there to hear us. :)
