Nerds, Hippies, Beauty, and the Beast

Beej arrived in Manila from her Iloilo/Bacolod trip last Wednesday at 7pm (same time as the earthquake, hehe). After fetching her from the airport, we immediately braved the heavy rains and the Baclaran Ash Wednesday traffic on the way to Big Buddha at Blue Wave, where she treated me to soy chicken (yum!) and a seafood something something (which was a little too spicy for me). Thank you per diem! ;)

The next day, we were both too lazy for our 'regular' Thursday swimming (nobody brought extra clothes, hehe), so while waiting for number coding, we instead decided to go on a pizza date at the new Yellow Cab at UN Ave-Roxas Blvd near Bayview, where we 'planned' our 2006 summer activities. :) As soon as we arrived home later that night, we then watched the downloaded AR 901 together (which we missed because of her arrival flight). Go BJ & Tyler! :)

Last Saturday, EPI finally pushed through with the "par-tey" at Sid & Liza's place. Actually it turned into a pizza, chips and beer movie-triple-date (King Kong -- the whole 3 hours of it), with Sid & Liza, Janice & Alex, and Beej & myself. Sid & Liza supplied the chips, Janice & Alex brought Yellow Cab (again, hehe) meat lovers pizza, and we supplied the Mountain Dew (special request, hehe) & San Mig Light. Of course I was stuck with drinking water with my pizza, while Sid & Alex were having their Lights (and the Colt 45 afterwards). Damn.

I just remembered: We forgot to use all the "je vous présente" phrases, hehe. (Sid et Janice sont les étudiants français aussi). And nobody took any pictures. Damn damn. :(
