Diapers and Eggs

Beej was going to be busy for a couple of days (two consecutive whole day meetings, then out of town for three days) so we decided to go on a 'date day' last Wednesday. However, 'date day' turned into 'errand day', as we squeezed in her monthly dentist appointment in the early afternoon, and a trip to the supermarket at Market Market for her gift for a soon-to-be goddaughter (disposable diapers -- practical!). Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining -- we ate at Hizon's afterwards (pansit luglog -- yum!; halo-halo -- not-so yum). It just reminded me of a TV show I've watched before (forgot which one) where a couple who were supposed to go on a date did almost the same thing (supermarket), and they ended up 'dining' on junk foods and bottled drinks -- and having the best date ever. :)

Well, we sort of did that too, one day after, as we had 'Korean' instant noodles (bought from the supermarket trip, of course) for dinner. :) Haha, Beej has been watching too many Koreanovelas. ;)



Yesterday, we took the disposable diapers to Sta. Rosa -- the baptism of Katrina Marie. :) All I can remember was the scorching heat of the sun -- I think it may already be the start of 'summer' here in Manila -- it was HOT in the church, as well as in the reception. :(



After our 'eat and run', we drove back to Market Market (favorite mall, andun pa si Christian Bautista, mwehehe...) for some Raspberry Tea-based and Vanilla Cream-based Fraps -- check! :) To top it all off, we ended the day at Heaven and Eggs, for an Oreo milkshake and a taste of Sinatra's, um, Eggs. Hehe. :)
